Yikes is right... it’s not pretty. But if your teeth were all filling or decay anyway, then don’t worry they’ll look pretty nice when they’re all covered up.

WARNING:

According to the Tell-All book "Confessions of a Former Cosmetic Dentist" - link- If your teeth are healthy then porcelain veneers and crowns may not be a great choice. There are a few “Cosmetic Dentists” who are very aggressive and will attempt to sell you on the veneer makeover idea (even when braces are a better alternative). There are many excellent cosmetic dentists but if you are feeling like they are tugging on your purse or wallet you should seek a second opinion.

If you really need veneers, ask about the "minimum prep or no prep" design... but even these can be grossly over-used as a poor substitute for orthodontics.
